We invite you to take part in the International Congress «Osteopathy Open 2015: Topical issues of Osteopathy", which will be held from 11 to 14 June 2015 in accordance with the plan of scientific and practical activities of the Ministry of Public Health in 2015.

The Congress includes 2 events:

  1. On June 11 - International Conference "The organizing and legal issues of training and treating in osteopathy " (venue: Kirochnaya ul., 41, NWSMU named after I.I. Mechnikov);
  2. On June 12-14 - International Symposium "Osteopathy and Children's Health" including workshops conducted by the leading osteopathic physicians from Russia, Europe, USA and Canada (venue: Universitetskaya Embankment, 7-9, Saint-Petersburg State University).

 

The following topics on contemporary osteopathy are expected to discuss during the Congress:

 

  1. State regulation of osteopathic care and the difficulties of training in osteopathy.
  2. The use of osteopathic techniques in the treatment of various diseases in children.
  3. Osteopathy in the medical rehabilitation of children.
  4. The role and place of osteopathic medicine in the prevention of diseases in children and adolescents.
  5. New approaches to the osteopathic treatment of children during the neonatal period.
  6. Methodology of osteopathic approach in pregnant women.
  7. Effectiveness of the results of osteopathic treatment using modern diagnostic methods.
