Norwegian weeks in NWSMU named after I.I.Mechnikov

On April 25-26 was organized Russian-Norwegian Pain Meeting in the framework of bilateral collaboration between NWSMU named after I.I.Mechnikov and University of Oslo. For the last two weeks this is the second Russian-Norwegian meeting dedicated to current and urgent topics of modern medicine.

On the seminar were discussed issues on anesthesiology, regional anesthesia, pain syndrome and pain assessment and treatment. The specialists from the University of Oslo presented their reports: MD Kjell Torp Joakimsen, MD PhD Axel Sauter, RN Maren Falch-Lindberg, Professor MD Leiv Arne Rosseland and  Prof.Anners Lerdal.

NWSMU named after I.I.Mechnikov were represented by Prof. Konstantin M. Lebedinskii, Head of the Department of Department of Anaesthesiology and Reanimatology n.a Vladimir L. Vanevskii, Prof.Olga U.Kuznetsova, Head of the Department of  Family medicine, Natalya V.Zinserling, Head of the Department for foreign affairs and Prof.Alexey E.Karelov, Department of Anaesthesiology and Reanimatology n.a Vladimir L. Vanevskii.

The seminar was attended by clinical residents, postgraduate students who were deeply interested in the themes discussed that lately provoked lively discussion.

At the end of the seminar the representatives of the Universities discussed the possible ways and opportunities of future fruitful cooperation.
