Principal activities:

  1. Formation of training schedules, curricula, and individual study plans for the courses being implemented, and the new ones;
  2. Formation of the class schedule, examination schedule, and final state attestation schedule;
  3. Allocation of classroom resources to support the training process;  
  4. Calculation of planned workload per chair;
  5. Ensuring the procedures for reinstatement and transfer to the University at all stages.

Principal activities:

  • Processing requests from organizations, ministries, departments for providing information on Bachelor's, Specialist's (MD), Master's Degree students, and graduates (fact of training, issuing diplomas, etc.);
  • Acceptance of personnel files of students enrolled, record keeping, enrollment accounting, preparation of reports, and registration of graduates' education documents;
  • Publishing on the University’s official website the information on the total number of students, information on the number of vacant places for admission (transfer);
  • Preparation, approval and publication in the University's Information System of order templates on the enrollment of students;
  • Interaction with chairs and dean's offices in terms of preparing examination lists and documents on the composition of the examination board;
  • Maintaining a database of students with a right to subsidized fares on public transport, and preparation of supporting documents. Maintaining a database of students with a right to subsidized fares on public transport for orphans and children without parental care, persons from among orphans and children without parental care, and preparation of supporting documents;
  • Registration of the all contract documents on training of citizens of the Russian Federation and equated categories, as well as foreign citizens. Record keeping and storage of the contract documents;
  • Registration of the additional paid educational services for the students;
  • Maintaining a specialized record of disabled people enrolled in programs.

Head of Centre for Graduate Employment

Principal activities:

  • Providing information and assistance to students and residents on employment;
  • Organizing meetings of students and representatives of customers of targeted training; organizing meetings of students and residents with potential employers, representatives of university chairs, public authorities, bodies and organizations of Rospotrebnadzor, employment services, and University’s HR department
  • Formation of vacancy database for employment, and publishing information on the University’s official website. Implementation and support of information system to promote graduate employment;
  • Participation in meetings on employment assistance and in job fairs;
  • Data collection on the pre-employment of graduates at the time of graduation;
  • Data collection on the actual employment within the framework of targeted training agreements with authorities, organizations and Rospotrebnadzor bodies;
  • Advising students on fulfilling their obligations under the targeted training agreements;
  • Drawing up contracts and supplementary agreements to contracts on the organization of practical training of students;
  • Informing students about the terms and duration of practical training.

 Centre for Graduate Employment of the NWSMU named after I. I. Mechnikov organizes and conducts practical training.

The practical training contributes to the consolidation, improvement, systematization of theoretical knowledge obtained during the training in order to acquire practical skills necessary for a professional activity.

Practical skills are acquired through various types of practical training:

  • 31.05.01 «General Medicine»: clinical internship, clinical internship (nurse assistant), clinical internship (procedure nurse assistant), clinical internship (doctor's assistant), practical training to acquire professional skills and experience;
  • 32.05.01 «Preventive Medicine»: practical training to acquire basic professional skills (nursing), practical training to acquire basic professional skills (paramedical), practical training to acquire basic professional skills (laboratory), practical training to acquire basic professional skills (assistant doctor in a hospital), practical training to acquire professional skills (assistant doctor (specialist) at a body or institution working to ensure the sanitary and epidemiological wellbeing of the population);
  • 31.05.03 «Dentistry»: training to acquire basic professional skills, including basic research skills, training as an assistant of dentist assistant, clinical internship (dental hygienist assistant), clinical internship (assistant of dental surgeon), practical training to acquire professional skills and experience (assistant of dental therapist), practical training to acquire professional skills and experience (assistant of dentist-orthopedist).
